TRYS “Random acts of Volunteerism”
Have you a skill or a speciality? Have you one hour of
free time? Do you want to give to your community in a unique way? It is the
European year of Volunteering and Friday, September ,30th 2011 is
National Volunteer Day . Tipperary Regional Youth Service is offering you the
opportunity to volunteer one hour of your time to young people in your area –
just to try it out and anything goes!
Maybe you would like help us to review
our legal policies or show group members how to style their hair? Are you a tradesperson who would like to
share your knowledge – teach a group of
lads how to change a plug?? Maybe you’re an IT professional concerned about safe
internet usage amongst young people? Artists, writers, musicians, beauticians,
and accountants – the possibilities are endless and the commitment is up to
you. A once off hour or a regular commitment, either way you will learn a bit
more about what we do in the community whilst teaching young people valuable
skills. And don’t worry, you’ll be fully supported and supervised – we want to
help you to help us! If you are interested please feel free to contact
