Clonmore Youth Club will be holding their Annual table Quiz on Friday the 3^rd of February @ 8.30pm. The Quiz will be held in Fitzpatrick’s pub in Clonmore. (€20 for a team of 4)

First Prize : €200

Senior variety Show 2011

This year’s variety show took place in Oola Community Hall in Oola. Thanks to everyone who organised the hall for us. It was a great night with plenty of talent on display. We had singers, dancers, musicians, comedians. You name it we had it on the night. This year Youth Work Ireland have changed the rules of the Variety Show. In fact they’ve even changed the name of the competition to ‘The Youth Factor’. There are just three categories, dance, song and performance. A more detailed explanation can be found on www.youthworkireland.ie. Each youth service can send three acts through to the final. This year we are sending our solo singer winners Vicky Koncewitz from Cashel, Norita Bourke from Upperchruch and the dance team from Cashel; Kerry Gibson, David Ryan, Chelsea Gibson, Shauna Beatty Greene, Fiona Murphy and Paulina Bugska. We wish them all the best in the next round which has yet to be finalised by Youth Work Ireland. Thanks also to our presenter on the night who did a great job; Ethan McGrath. Ethan is a member of the Manic Fantastic Youth Theatre. If any of your senior club members would like to present any of the junior variety shows we would be delighted. They can contact Lisa 087 9100727 for more information. Congratulations to everyone who took part on the night and we are looking forward to doing it all again in 2012 for the junior variety shows. The junior shows will take place on Sunday 11th March, South Tipp (venue to be confirmed) andNorth Tipp will be in Drom ‘n Inch on Sunday 18th March. All applications due in Friday 2nd March. Again all the best to our Youth Factor finalists!

TENDER FOR THE DELIVERY OF Work Winner Project

Tipperary Regional Youth Service invites tenders from Organizations,
consortiums and individuals to deliver on behalf of TRYS, the Work Winner
Project.

The Work Winner Project is a 30 week full time programme supporting young
people under 25 to develop their employability through training and work
experience. The project is a set programme and the successful candidate will be expected to co-ordinate contact with young people, local potential employers and potential training
opportunities.

Work Winner aims to support young people in Tipperary Town
who have low education/ skills base / experience to access opportunities to
enhance their employability. It operates within TRYS Suite of projects in Tipperary Town, and the successful candidate will be located in our Tipperary Youth Centre.

Tender Aim:

The overall aim of the tender is to deliver an effective Work Winner Project in
Tipperary Town.

Submission of tenders

Applications should be submitted electronically or by post to Olivia Ryan,
TRYS, Croke St, Thurles, Co Tipperary, or olivia.ryan@trys.ie by 5 PM on
