TEMPLEMORE YOUTH DARTS TOURNAMENT

On the 26th of February we held our first youth darts tournament in Templemore Town Hall. The event was the brain child of John Fogarty with the venue and support supplied on the day by Christy O’Neill of Templemore Youth Project,  Tipperary Regional Youth Service. Along with being a hugely successful event it was all the more apt as it was held in the memory of Michael “ Migger “ Fennel who was an avid supporter of the local youth . 27 young people took part in the event with the standard high throughout the competition. Two closely fought semi finals saw Eric Quinlan and Luke Quinlan lose out on a place in the final. The deciding match was between Raychel Morrissey and Shaun Ryan with Shaun the overall winner on the day.

A brilliant day was had by all involved and wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our kind Sponsors: Donie Clarke- Clarkes Bar, Francis Murphy- Murphys Bar

Derek Downes- Euro Spar Also a huge thanks to the organizers: John Fogarty, Jim Bob Tierney, Noel Moynihan, And the markers on the day:, Billy Fogarty, Noel Stapleton, Davy Morrissey, Austin Purcell.
